Leftbankeisms Vol. 2



The second volume of Leftbankeisms consists of some Beckies demos, tracks recorded by Michaels Brown's wife Yvonne Vitale, ex-4 Seasons member Gerry Polci, and Left Banke vocalist Steve Martin Caro. These are very rare tracks.
The tracks with Michael Brown and Steve Martin Caro are promos from a Left Banke project called Airborne which was recorded around 2001.

Dress Rehearsal



This is an exclusive collection of Left Banke related tracks. It contains Steve Martin Caro's mother Sarita Heredia's 1963 LP Flamenco Fire, pre-Left Banke singles by Christopher and the Chaps (Mike Brown), The Magic Plants (Tom Finn), Beckies related songs, and a bonus track of Mike Brown doing a short radio spot. These are very rare tracks.

Steve Martin Caro - Summer Song



In the 1980's, Steve Martin Caro handed a demo tape to former Left Banke guitarist Jeff Winfield to hold onto while Steve left New York City for Cleveland. The demo contains five songs sung by Steve for a possible solo album. It also contains an early Left Banke cover of the Dave Clark Five's "Glad All Over."

Jeff Winfield - The Switch



In the time between 1985 and 1986, original Left Banke lead guitarist Jeff Winfield wrote, arranged, and recorded several demos in New York City with various studio musicians and session vocalists, including Josie Kuhn. Guitars were played by Jeff, drums by Howie Wyeth, and saxophone by Frank Vicari.

The Michael Brown Story (Radio documentary)



Even Johan Ottersland conducted a radio documentary in 2005 about Michael Brown in which he interviewed Michael, several of his former bandmates and people whom he worked with. The documentary is divided into 4 parts, each focusing on the groups Michael worked with over the years. Thanks alot to Even and Glockenspiel Productions for donating this.
